Berkhamsted Town Hall, Hertfordshire - a venue for your wedding, party or event.
About Berkhamsted Town Hall
Berkhamsted
Town Hall was built in 1859 by a charitable trust and was the subject of a major
dispute
in the 1970s when the building became derelict and faced closure. In 1979 a
new trust was formed and the town hall was eventually restored.
Berkhamsted Town Hall is now used as a venue for weddings and other events. The clock room is used for civil ceremonies while the Great Hall is available for the rest of the day's procedings. There is also a smaller hall (the Sessions Hall) which can also be hired. Berkhamsted Town Hall also a fully licenced bar (the Griffin Bar) which can be opened when requested by hirers.
Berkhamsted Town Hall is one of the more unusual venues in Hertfordshire
and is well worth checking out.
Piano
availability at Berkhamsted Town Hall
There are now three pianos available for use in the town hall. The Clock Room has a Zender upright piano which is usually used for ceremonies; the Great Hall has a rather nice Broadwood Grand piano; and the Sessions Hall has just had a piano donated(I haven't tried this one yet).
